DB2 to Oracle(sic)

DB2 to Oracle(sic)
Given the current trends, this may seem like a strange post; however I have
just been asked by one of our users how long it would take to move our DB2
database(s) to an Oracle platform.

I am assuming that the Oracle/Solaris platform and catalogue would be set
up. I am being lazy in that I wuld like to know if anyone on the list
hasdone this at any time and what the comparable load times could be.

In addition, I realise that this may all be well be documented in a red book
or the Oracle equivalent (maroon book ?).

Any info would be most welcome.

...send the User to a health farm for the weekend .. ORACLE???
:-)

There is a paper or something similar on this I am sure ( check the
WEB)... I am sure there will be no redbook that covers how to go about
taking your data from db2 to Oracle so that you can get shot of DB2 ..
:-))) but there may be one on how to replicate from one to the other
..
