DB2 PM and authasn (0C4)

DB2 PM and authasn (0C4)
Hi to all,
perhaps a stupid question, but I am involved in a DB2 PM test without being
a Db2 expert...

Trying to activate the TCP interface for DB2 Pm on OS390 2.7 I get a sad 0C4
abend.
Db2PM is looking for an "authasn" address space. No info on program
directory or IBM-LINK, I think these
are new parameters. Db2PM works ok without TCP/IP activation ..

Any suggest ?
Thank you in advance , Happy New Year and Happy Y3K....

Franco,

The DB2PM Data Collector will try to start an Authorization Address Space if
you are using the TCP/IP interface. The name of this started task is
specified using the parameter AUTHORIZATIONADDRESSSPACE or AUTHASN. Check
the output of the Data Collector to make sure this address space is being
started.
The member DGOVDCAS in the SDGOSAMP library contains sample JCL for this
address space if you haven't set it up yet.

Regards
Rob.

Hi all,
I have had this problem for a while and IBM have not been able to give
me an answer on it yet...but you must setup the auth address space as
mentioned below first.

Anybody else using TCPIP with PM in a big way?

Leslie
