OAM (OS/390 2.10) & DB2 V7

OAM (OS/390 2.10) & DB2 V7
Morning,
We are in the process of preparing for migration from DB2 V6 to DB2 V7.
This is my first time working with OAM. I have posted a question with IBM
to ask if there are any issues with OAM and V7. The are suppose to play
well together. I have been advised to do rebinds, check on hypers, and pay
close attention to changes with V7. It was also mentiond to do a DB2 reorg.
I was expecting to do this prior to migration, but not because of OAM. At
IDUG, it was mentioned as a good idea before going to V7.

Anybody out there migrated to V7 and have OAM installed? Would you be
willing to share how you prepared and if you had any issues?

Regards,

Ruth Sutlic

We installed DB2 V7 at PUT0112, OAM (OS/390 2.10) and didn't have any
issues at all related to OAM. Most likely your maintenance will be much
more current than PUT0112 but I haven't seen any maintenance that made the
hiper list relating to OAM. I expect you'll have a good experience.
