Subject: [swarug-users] SWARUG Meeting Thursday Dec 12 with Sheryl
Larsen

Hi everyone,

We're really excited about our next meeting. It will be on Thursday,
December 12 from 9:00 - 2:30 at the Embassy Suites at 2630 E
Camelback Rd in Phoenix.

The highlight of the meeting will be a keynote presentation from
Sheryl Larsen - Optimizing Your DB2 Index Design. Sheryl is a great
speaker so this is an excellent opportunity to get some free
education.

There will also be 2 interesting SIG presentations to choose from.
Chuck Sodowsky will be discussing Quest Central for DB2 and Annie
Neroda will present IBM's DB2 Warehouse Manager.

We will be holding our elections at the meeting so please consider
volunteering your energy and ideas to keep this group strong. You can
help by becoming a board member or a SIG leader.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the meeting. I will still be
in Austin working with the IBM Redbook group writing a Host
Integration guide. I was really looking forward to this meeting and
I'm sure that those of you who are able to make it will find it very
rewarding.

Please RSVP to Doreen Miller at (602) 236-6906 or
mailto:[login to unmask email] and indicate which SIG you plan to attend
in the afternoon.

As always full details are available on our website at:

Cheers,
Steve Hunn
