Refresh message coming out on console

Refresh message coming out on console
OS/390 DB2 V61
Stored Procedure Builder on Win NT running UDB V7.2

Anyone know how set things up so the following message doesn't display on
the MVS console/log every three minutes?

*IWM031I VARY REFRESH FOR DSNAWLM IN PROGRESS

SPB doesn't look at the STAY RESIDENT value for a procedure and will
blindly use WLM_REFRESH to stop/start the WLM ENVIRONMENT to ensure
you use the new version of the generated program. My guess is that
if you have a long running function/procedure it might take some time
for the old started task to be become unused - and wlm is telling you
that it is still waiting.

We
- only use SPB in development regions
- always use STAY RESIDENT NO in those regions
- do not have WLM_REFRESH in development regions

Hence when SPB tries to call WLM_REFRESH it fails, but that doesn't
matter because the new version will be picked up anyway.

Paul:

If, after implementing everyone else's suggestions, you still see these messages on the operator's console, you can use one of the following to suppress them:
NetView (assuming you have a license for it)
MPF - Message Processing Facility (kind of old-fashioned, but it
works, and last I knew it came with OS/390)
