What is PERINDREF in DB2 Automation Tools!
Hi All,
Does anyone has any idea what does PERINDREF option of REORG in DB2
Automation tool means. Is it a combination of NEAR and FAR INDREF. How is it
calculated in a Reorg in the tool.
Thanks,
Syed

Hi Syed,
The INDREF option allows you to specify the percentage of the tablespace
rows that are indirectly referenced when having the REORG decide which
tablespaces to REORG. If the percentage of rows in the tablespace is greater
than the percentage specified with INDREF, then the tablespace will be
REORGed. If the tablespace pectentage is less than the INDREF specification
the tablespace will not be REORGed.
Hope this helps,
