DSNTPSMP I/O error

DSNTPSMP I/O error
Dear List Server,

I have just upgraded DB2 on my local PC to fixpack 7. I did this to resolve errors I was getting when trying to create java stored procedures (with SQLJ) using Stored Procedure Builder.

I can now successfully create SQLJ java stored procedures on an AIX server. However, when I try to create a SQL stored procedure on a DB2 OS/390 database I get the following error.

I/O error for statement: ALLOCATE DDNAME(PRCDBRM) rc=12

I did not get this error prior to applying the fixpack.

Has anyone experience this and do I need to apply Fixpack 7 to the mainframe?

thanks,

We have made the change detailed in APAR II13094 and I am still getting the following error:

I/O ERROR FOR STATEMENT: ALLOCATE DDNAME(PRCDBRM) RC = 12

The error specified in APAR II13094 has a RC = -3, my error has RC = 12.
Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I think we got around it by forcing the SPA's STEPLIB
to be non-authorized.
I invented a library called SYS1.NOTAPF.LINKLIB
Is this what you tried?

Re: DSNTPSMP I/O error
(in response to Edward Long)
Hi Lynne,

Please check the DBRM library specified in the
WLM running the DSNTPSMP. The library might be having an
E-37 abend. This shows up in the log for the WLM
running the DSNTPSMP. From the GUI you might see only
I/O error messages.

Re: DSNTPSMP I/O error
(in response to DB2 ssg81)
We added an unauthorized library in the steplib concatenation called TSRWH.LOADLIB to the jcl procedure that starts the stored proc address space. BUT THIS DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. We ended up resolving the problem by adding extents to DSN710.DSN.SRCLIB.DATA which was at 16 extents.

Make sure the datasets are not all apf authorized in the WLM region.
