Address Cleansing-Postal Mailing Addresses

Address Cleansing-Postal Mailing Addresses
Are any organizations in the DB2 community who also doing on-line address
cleansing--this would include addresses in the USPS as well as any other
country's postal systems. I'd be interested in discussing some the
challenges and solutions folks in the DB2 community have had with this
issue. My company uses DB2 as our main database repository and we have
been involed in address cleansing through batch modes for many years. In
advance, I thank thank you for your feedback.

(in response to Henry Nalven)
Henry,

I work in the US Postal DB2 and internet development center. We use the
address cleansing on-line and it has performed without any problems
using WLM stored procedures.

Just so you know the address cleansing applications are developed and
administrated on the other side of the country. I know there is a cd
version of all valid USA addresses. Please don't ask any questions how
do you order, because I don't have a clue.

Dan
