DB2 7.2 64 bit on AIX - any experiences or problems ?

DB2 7.2 64 bit on AIX - any experiences or problems ?
We are looking to implement DB2 7.2 64 bit on a p690 (Regatta) server. It
will be accessed from a 32 bit client under DB2 Connect EE.

There are a list of restriction on the IBM web site some of which look like
show stoppers for us.

Does any one have any experience or knowledge of 64 bit which might be
useful to us which they could share please?

www7b.software.ibm.com/dmdd/library/summaries/300597.html

although this appears to refer to 7.1, searching on the IBM web site for
"DB2 64-bits 7.2 " will also produce a link which points to this report.

The restrictions listed include Replication, Extenders and JDBC - all of
which will/would impact us.

I believe v8 removes a lot (if not all) of these restrictions when running
64-bit.
