there seems to be one scheduled for April in Germany or Austria. Further
details are not available yet.
Have a look at: http://www-3.ibm.com/services/learning/conf/europe/

Re: ANSWER: 2003 DB2 Tech Conf
(in response to David Seibert)
Phil,

IBM is not hitting the mark in Europe this year.

There's also a DB2 Tech Conf on the IBM website, with no details, scheduled
for
April. Says Germany/Austria. The unofficial word is Innsbruck.
It looks like they don't really know what they are doing. They also had an
IMS conf
posted for March, and that has gone away. Before that, it was posted as an
IMS/DB2 Tech conf in March.

The Software Symposium scheduled for May is the same week as IDUG in the
US, and all the top
IBM speakers from the labs were already committed to IDUG before that IBM
Symposium in Munich was scheduled.

Now, if there is a DB2 Tech Conf in April, that's where the bulk of the
talent and presentations will be.
However, I'll be surprised if they really pull this off since they haven't
firmed up the location or dates,
which implies they don't have a presentation/speaker grid either. But then
Munich has no presentation
grid on the web.

Since advertising is a key requisite for a successful conference, and part
of the advertising must be the presentation grid,
draw your own conclusions.
I expect that IDUG/Nice in October will be the conference to attend for DB2
information.

Regards,
Joel
