P97G version of CA Solutions for DB2
We're currently using P97G version of CA's DB2 Products (Platinum) on OS/390
V2.6. We're planning to move to OS/390 V2.10 and then to Z/OS 1.4 soon.
Anyone out there using P97 utilities with OS/390 V2.10 or Z/OS and if so,
were there any issues? You can reply to me directly.
Thanks,
Carlos Olson

Hello Carlos,

P97 is an unsupported version, and P99 will have support dropped in June 2004, so you should upgrade to the latest P01 version as soon as possible.
Another thing - CA is hosting a webcast December 16, which talks about the reasons to upgrade to P01 as well as some of the news :
http://www3.ca.com/events/eventdetail.asp?CID=10779 < http://www3.ca.com/events/eventdetail.asp?CID=10779&CevID=53361 > &CevID=53361

Please contact me off the list if you want to talk about these issues further.

Kind regards
