Rite Aid Corporation currently has an opening for a strong DB2 OS/390
DBA in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I am looking for a highly motivated
individual with varied production and application DBA support
experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to SQL
performance tuning, backup/recovery including disaster recovery, schema
management and general development support.

We support a large V6 data sharing environment with approximately five
terabytes of active data and a mixture of batch, online and an
increasing amount of DDF connections under management. We have the full
compliment of BMC tools and are actively planning a V7 upgrade for early
2004.

Collectively, the database support team at Rite Aid manages DB2 390, UDB
EEE & EE, Oracle and SQL Server platforms with some opportunities to
cross train. Interested candidates should send their resumes to Janice
