PREFETCH Change from Blank to "L"

PREFETCH Change from Blank to "L"
We have a program that has been running successfully on a regular basis in
which a REBIND is done on a weekly basis. The PREFETCH mode was BLANK until
3 weeks ago it suddenly changed to "L" with no apparent changes made. Can
anyone explain what might cause this?

Most likely explanation: your table has grown large enough for the optimizer
to conclude that it makes sense (from an I/O perspective) to prefetch to the
pages into buffer in advance of your need.
