v7 and v8 db access

v7 and v8 db access
Hello All,

Pardon me if this is a newbie question. My environment: AIX 5.1, db2 v7 & v8
(test box)

I just have installed v8 (no fixpaks installed yet) and created a sample db.
I already have v7 (fp9) instance and couple of databases created for it and
v7 admin server is used to access it. From the remote box, I can access v7
database with no issues. The issue is when I am trying to connect v8
database. My question is, how do I configure admin server to enable access
to v7 as well as v8 databases. I might have missed something in the install
document and please provide me the appropriate link if you think that would
be useful.

Thanks in advance...

Senthil,
Unfortunately the Admin Server will only work with one version at a
time since it uses a fixed IP port for communications.
