DB2 JOBS ARROUND THE WORLD

DB2 JOBS ARROUND THE WORLD
Hello, A friend is interested in traveling the world and working in DB2. I
was wondering what are prominent areas in the world that have MAINFRAME
DB2/COBOL positions. If there is another discussion group that I should post
this to please advise. I once saw a response about ITALY having positions
for DB2 MAINFRAME employment.

thanks for any responses

Complete waste of time. Working with DB2 only got me as far as New Zealand,
England, Switzerland, Germany, NZ (again), Australia, NZ (yet again - can't
keep away), and England (again). So as far as 'Join DB2 and see the world',
as you can see it doesn't work...

I wouldn't call it a *complete* waste of time. I for one would be more than
happy to entertain any job offers from south of the Tropic of Cancer for the
next few months - it's d*mn cold up here ;)

(in response to Bill L. Blaney)
A wall street financial services firmed that I used to work for just outsourced their entire mainframe including DB2 to India. So here's another "world stop" to consider.
