Generating Zparm DISABSCL

Generating Zparm DISABSCL
Colleagues,

Got a small problem here, and I can't see the wood for the trees. I'm
changing the way we generate our Zparms (from simply modifying the existing
DSNTIJUZ job) to using the panels and generating a new DSNTIJUZ job each
time. Working OK so far, except for one wee prob.

There's a 'hidden' Zparm, DISABSCL, which sets some SQLWARN fields. What it
does isn't important as such. The problem is that in our testing (i.e.
playpen) subsystems this parm gets automatically placed in the generated
DSNTIJUZ job, while for one of our Development subsystems the parm is being
left out of the generated job. Fortunately the default (according to the
Installation Guide) is the value I want, so no actual harm done. But I want
to know why the generated job looks different for this subsystem.

Any clues? Ideas?

Generating Zparm DISABSCL
(in response to Raymond Bell)
All,

Apologies. Don't worry about my previous post on this subject. As luck
would have it, I've found where the default value gets supplied. From the
Clist itself. Seems that whoever applied the PTF didn't make sure the Clist
library was kept up-to-date. Our sandpit DSNTINST Clist provides a value
for DISABSCL; our other DSNTINST Clists in other LPARs doesn't. Arse.

Anyway, problem solved. Sorry to have wasted your time.
