ODBC Driver name for Excel
Does anyone know the name of the ODBC Driver that is used in excel to query
a table in DB2 Z/OS?

(in response to Barbara Nigh)
Depends upon what ODBC drivers you're using. I use MSQUERY which access DB2
Connect drivers. I have used SHADOW DIRECT also to accomplish the same thing.

I just give the name of the DB2 subsystem in MSQUERY machine data sources that
I'm connecting to and go from there. I've never worrried about whether it's an
ADO, .NET or straight ODBC driver. It's easy and works.

What you are looking for is IBM DB2 Connect product
(http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/db2/db2connect/). If you wantot
enable a single workstation with Excell to be able to do this then get DB2
Connect Personal Edition.
