New books.

New books.
I'm not affiliated with O'Reilly Publishing, but I like their books.
There are some new DB2 for z/OS books that might be of interest:

The Official Introduction to DB2(r) for z/OS(r) Covers DB2 Universal
Database(tm) for z/OS Version 8 2nd Edition
By Susan Graziano Sloan

http://safari.oreilly.com/?XmlId=0131477501

DB2(r) Express Easy Development and Administration
By Paul Yip, Kit Man Cheung, Jason Gartner, Clara Liu, Stephen O'Connell

http://safari.oreilly.com/?XmlId=0131463977

If you want to sign up, you can read these via the Web. I know nothing
about cost or anything else. I like the "dead tree" versions of these
type of books.

I am :-)

The DB2 titles you mention below actually aren't ours. They
are published by a Prentice-Hall. Safari, the online,
subscription book service is a separate company jointly
owned by O'Reilly and Pearson Education. Pearson owns
Prentice-Hall. That's why you see Prentice-Hall and other
Pearson imprints on what appears to be an O'Reilly-branded
site.

The home page for the joint-venture is
SafariBooksOnline.com, though, as is obvious from the links
below, safari.oreilly.com also gets you to the same
material.

Well, maybe this is all more than anyone wants to know.

I do hope to see some DB2 titles from O'Reilly someday....
