Upgrade DB2 or IMS first?

Upgrade DB2 or IMS first?
I have z/OS 1.4, DB2 v7 & IMS v7 currently installed. My question is which
product I should upgrade first and why?

(in response to Vern LaMar)
Both products are still in support.
IMS is a far eaiser upgrade
Install
Do an all gen
Upgrade your Recon.

For IMS are you TM or DBCNTL?
Any data sharing in IMS or DB2
(There are some special data sharing considerations for IMS)

You need to be +/- current on either to do an upgrade.

If you are inexperienced doing upgrades do IMS first.
Unless you have a specific need for new functionality in DB2 I would do
IMS first.
An additional reason for possibly holding off on IMS is if you are
planning to go to IMS V9.
