AIX DB2 upgrade to 64 bit
Hi all,

We are DB2 V8.1.5 32 bit on AIX 5.1 and Websphere 4.3 and have excess memory
on our servers that we would like DB2 to take advantage of for bufferpool
usage. We see upgading to 64 bit as a way of faciltating this.

We have researched the process required to make this upgrade and are
reasonably happy but would like information about any 'gotchas' that listers
may have experienced when trying this. We intend to run a 32 bit DB2 client
instance that can act as a gateway for our 32 bit client applications ( like
Websphere) and a 64 bit server instance.

I would be grateful for any advice or experiences you may have.

Thanks in advance.
