Strange SQLSTATE 57011

Georg Peter

Strange SQLSTATE 57011
Collegues,

one of our appz run into an SQLSTATE 57011:

DSNT408I SQLCODE = -904, ERROR: UNSUCCESSFUL EXECUTION CAUSED BY AN
UNAVAILABLE RESOURCE. REASON 00E30305, TYPE OF RESOURCE
00000801, AND RESOURCE NAME FAOSSYENTW.FAZXSPZ.178A89911446DAB2
DSNT418I SQLSTATE = 00000 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE
DSNT415I SQLERRP = DSNXEAAL SQL PROCEDURE DETECTING ERROR
DSNT416I SQLERRD = -150 0 0 -1 0 0 SQL DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION
DSNT416I SQLERRD = X'FFFFFF6A' X'00000000' X'00000000' X'FFFFFFFF'
X'00000000' X'00000000' SQL DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION

FAZXSPZ is a package bound in a collection named FAOSSYENTW. A look into
SYSIBM.SYSPACKAGE shows that the values of VALID and OPERATIVE are Y. And
the plan above the collection has VALID and OPERATIVE Y too.

Any ideas why and how this package ran into a 57011 ?

Any comments, thoughts, experiences are highly appreciated. Thanks in
advance.

With kind regards - mit freundlichen Gruessen,
Georg H. Peter

Re: Strange SQLSTATE 57011
(in response to Georg Peter)
Georg,
The reason code states that the package is not operational. Was the
package perhaps bound with SQLERROR(CONTINUE) and someone did not check
the warning messages returned during the bind? That would be my best
guess on the info provided.
