RLF Question - DB2 V7 for z/OS
Hello All,

I'm having trouble getting RLF to limit by plan or plan/authid. I've tried
various combinations of parms, but the only thing I've been successful with
is limiting by authid alone (authid with blank planname and rlffunc of 2).
If I remove the entry for a specific authid with a blank plan then the
default entry (blank authid and plan and rlffunc 2) is always chosen even
if there is an entry for the plan with a blank authid and rlffunc blank.
I've also tried these combinations with rlffunc set to 2. Here are the
entries I think should work...

---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+-
AUTHID PLANNAME ASUTIME LUNAME RLFFUNC RLFBIND RLFCOLLN
RLFPKG RLFASUERR RLFASUWARN RLF_CATEGORY_B
---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+-
P20610 DSNTEP2 9999999 PUBLIC
2300000 PUBLIC 2

From what I've read it would seem that when I execute DSNTEP2 using authid
P20610 it should get the 9999999 limit, but instead it gets 2300000. I've
verified this thru Omegamon.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Jay

If a program is bound as a package, you must limit by package name ONLY.
According to the admin guide, "PLANNAME must contain blank, and RLFFUNC
must contain '2'."

Cathy
