Requirements

Department Description

The Business Solutions group is responsible for all data aggregation and MIS
reporting for Global Sales across multiple divisions including Fixed Income,
Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Investment Banking and Equities. This
includes processing data feeds as well as reporting across salespeople,
clients, and products back to the business and the Executive Office. The
team is global in nature



Position Description

The new hire will be responsible for working out on all aspects of the
project from data modeling, feed processing design and enhancements, and
reporting environment design (this would include Business Objects as well as
Siebel Analytics as reporting and business intelligence platforms). Future
growth is to be the data modeling expert and the technical architect for
unified reporting platforms. The candidate must be experienced in all phases
of data warehousing and the data warehouse development life cycle and
standards. The candidate must have experience working with various data
warehousing tools as well as extensive knowledge of databases.



Requirements

8+ years of DW development

Strong Database knowledge (DB2)

Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional development frameworks

Experience with different DW technologies such as ETL, Star Schemas and
cubes

Experience with reporting and presentation tools and technologies

Experience with data warehouse lifecycles and methodologies

Strong Unix/Linux knowledge

Strong problem solving & analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good interpersonal skills.
