Reasons for getting DSNU255I
Hi the List,
I'm new on this list, and searching on Archives, I found
some topics (2 years ago) were about this "Key inconsistency" in a job loading some partitionned tablespace.
It was NOT a RESTART job.

We experienced this problem few months ago, but are still looking for explanations.
Any idea ?

Thanks
Gerard

Re: Reasons for getting DSNU255I
(in response to Gerard LE ROY)
Hi Gerard

It is a working Sunday afternoon, so I'm glad to be the first one to reply.
Here is my two cents.

This "Key inconsistency" problem in Archives is too long ago to recall. So
if I were you, I would
paste the utility job here, because sometimes there are some laughing
mistakes in JCL itself.
The story is, once we did a seperate UNLOAD/RELOAD operation, wrote a
certain volume
twice in SYSREC DD card, then the newer unloaded records overwrote the
older ones, we found
KEY count inconsistent when checking the output. I think this could be
possible for a LOAD or
REORG job, also.
Of course, in most cases, your problems is caued by DATA/INDEX inconsistent
and not so
interesting, so play a regular CHCKINDEX may be your first option.
Good luck
