DB2 for z/OS - problem with SPUFI query
The query below runs in QMF, but fails in SPUFI -

SELECT SCRN, DESCR, ARCH_TBL, BASE_TBL FROM H30D.TATSDBT , H30D.TXAMAP
WHERE MAP = SCRN
ORDER BY SCRN ;

The SPUFI failure is -

SELECT SCRN, DESCR, ARCH_TBL, BASE_TBL FROM H30D.TATSDBT , H30D.TXAMAP
WHERE MAP = SCRN
ORDER BY SCRN ;
---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+-

Is this a bug with SPUFI. Has anyone come across this before.

Re: DB2 for z/OS - problem with SPUFI query
(in response to Jim McAlpine)
I suspect your query extends from columns 1 thru 72. Because SPUFI,
DSNTEP2 et al concatenate lines before passing the statement to DB2,
you'll get a syntax error. Start each line with a blank, or don't extend
until column 72 to prevent this.

Of course, that was the problem. I had known that but forgotten it.

Thanks for the prompt response.
