DSNUPROC COPY/TEMPLATE/REFERBACK
Hi list.

I need to split the execution of copy utility. I want to do it like this:

//STEP1 EXEC DSNUPROC,SYSTEM=DSN,UID=ELD2IC,UTPROC='PREVIEW'
//SYSIN DD *
TEMPLATE ELD2T DSN 'EL.P.AVD2T.DDU7.&DB..&TS..T&JD.&HO.&MI.'
UNIT ROBOT STACK YES
LISTDEF ELD2L1 INCLUDE TABLESPACE ELRAXXDP.RAJLO1S
LISTDEF ELD2L2 INCLUDE TABLESPACE ELSMXXDP.SMDST1S
COPY LIST ELD2L1
COPYDDN ELD2T
FULL YES
SHRLEVEL REFERENCE
COPY LIST ELD2L2
COPYDDN ELD2T
FULL YES
SHRLEVEL REFERENCE

I want to use only one tape volume os I guess I need some referback here.
Don't mind RTFM but I can't find what I am looking for.

Suggestions ?

You could achieve this by including both tablespaces in the same LISTDEF.
The STACK YES option on the template will stack them on the same tape.

Re: DSNUPROC COPY/TEMPLATE/REFERBACK

Use a single SINGLE Listdef

TEMPLATE LOCALDDN
DSN(DB2TDBS.&DB..&TS..D&DATE..T&TIME..F)
UNIT(3490VSM) RETPD=35 STACK=YES

TEMPLATE REMOTDDN
DSN(DB2TDBS.&DB..&TS..D&DATE..T&TIME..R)
UNIT(3490VSM) RETPD=35 STACK=YES

LISTDEF DB01A
INCLUDE TABLESPACE DSNDB01.DBD01
INCLUDE TABLESPACE DSNDB01.SPT01
INCLUDE TABLESPACE DSNDB01.SCT02
and so on

Re: DSNUPROC COPY/TEMPLATE/REFERBACK
(in response to Roland Schiradin)
OK. My mistake. I thougt that if I execute the COPY severel times, it would
run as seperate utilitys.
The problem is, that I want to copy 1000 tablespaces in the same job to the
same tape-volume.
The tablespaces are blocked for other utilitys while the copy is running ,
therefore I want to split the copy utility.
