Fwd: BLOB retrieval basics?

Fwd: BLOB retrieval basics?
I need advice on where to go to learn about the basic "how-to"
mechanics of retrieving data from a BLOB in DB2 v7 z/OS. Language is
COBOL, if that makes a difference.

Can anyone help?

Phil,

Try the Redbook SG24-6571-00 Large Objects with DB2 for z/OS and OS/390
