Antw: [DB2-L] Copying from active log to archive log
Hi Ludmil,

If you copy an active Log to an archive log, you have to use the
allocation attributes as defined in DSNZPARM (DSN6ARVP BLKSIZE).

regards,
Martin.

Hi,
We have a need to copy a truncated active log to create a new archive
log.
I am using REPRO to do the copy.
We allocate first copy of archive to disk; second copy to tape.

What DCB attributes we need to specify?
We do have SMS.
The archive logs are being allocated with a recfm vb, lrecl 4093 per
dataset attributes.
But if I create a seql file to be registered as a archive log it
errors
out with a IEC141I 013-34, while reproing.
if you were to copy a active log as a new archive log what allocation
attributes you use.

regards
ludmil
