updating IMS database from V7 DB2 Stored procedure (Z/OS)

updating IMS database from V7 DB2 Stored procedure (Z/OS)
Has anybody tried it?

As the update is performed by the WLM started task and not the IMS one,
where is IMS recovery logged and what would be the name of the PSB/ACB?
The DB2 manuals are kind of vague on that.

Thanks,

Art,

Yes, we have. See section 24.2 of the redbook SG24-7083. We have shown
each step needed. You have a choice of using ODBA interface or the SP
DSNAIMS.I think DSNAIMS is much easier.

As to recovery - the SP (using RRSAF) is in charge and does provide a
2-phase commit across the 2 dbms's.

Contact me offline if questions.

Thansk,
