Move a db2 db from Windows to Linux
Hi,

Any suggestions to copy a db2 db (350 Gb) from windows to Linux ?

We will probably use a load tool.

Best Regards
W.

No problem-

1.db2look... to extract the DDL
2.db2move -- export... to extract the data
3.ftp the output from 1 and 2 to new machine
4.create an empty database on new machine
5.use output of db2look to create the rest of the
structures
6.db2move -- import (load or insert) to restore the
data

Creating foreign keys and indexes after loading the data will be good
approach
