Answer: [DB2-L] [ADMIN] Reminders from list owners
Good evening, Robert.

Why are you using "a drop indicator" for not opened emails from the DB2
list ?

From my point of view: Sometimes a theme ist not so interesting for me
or someone posted a very very special problem that I never had.

So what ?. ;-))

Please, please be ware of somewhat like a drop indicator ... whow what
an ugly word.....

With kind regards - mit freundlichen Gruessen,
Georg H. Peter c/o

If I understand your point (drop indicator) Many people here monitor more then one listservs, and/or get a lot of email in their jobs. I know I do not have time to read every single email, but use the subject header to 'filter' those emails that I am interested in/have expertise in.

But your point is well taken

I am reposting this important note for a couple of reasons.

Given that the holidays are quickly approaching and many of you will be
taking some time off, a reminder to set NOMAIL is appropriate.

Also I have noticed a drop in the subject indicator usage in number of
threads that have been posted.

Both these items, as well as the other items listed below, are only
meant to make your subscription to the listserv as
informative/productive as possible.

Happy holidays
