Re: Reg: Problem in applying PTF -- GIM23911E
(in response to Senthilkumar K)
1. Make sure the default utility return code or the return code you
specified in the UTILITY entry is the one you want to use. Make sure the
OPTIONS entry you are using contains the name of that UTILITY entry.
2. Check the linkage editor output to determine the cause of the
error. The utility sequence number may be used as an index into the output
contained in file sysprint to find the error. The sequence number is
incremented for each utility call in an SMP/E run.

Re: Reg: Problem in applying PTF -- GIM23911E
(in response to Jeff Frazier)
My first guess would be the PTF was not packaged correctly - since google
tells me that is a V9 new function ptf, that is very possible.

Open a PMR, specify UK10384 is failing because the module DSNLXRAL was
compiled RMODE 24 and it is not applying correctly.

UK10384 is V8.1 PTF. We applied it on 06285 without any problem. Check
you in your SMP environment the options for UTILITY LKED.

My first guess would be the PTF was not packaged correctly - since
google tells me that is a V9 new function ptf, that is very possible.

Open a PMR, specify UK10384 is failing because the module DSNLXRAL was
compiled RMODE 24 and it is not applying correctly.
