You may try that:


LISTDEF NAME1 INCLUDE TABLESPACE DBxx001.*
INCLUDE TABLESPACE DBxx001.*
EXCLUDE TABLESPACE DBxx001.SS*

To all:
Is there a way to wildcard all database under one
LISTDEF?
ie.
LISTDEF J INCLUDE TABLESPACES DATABASE *

I tried with no sucess.

The best I could do is
LISTDEF J INCLUDE TABLESPACES DATABASE A*
INCLUDE TABLESPACES DATABASE B*
etc....

Joe,

Looks like you're out of luck. From the V7 Utility manual, under Listdef:

You can specify the database-name explicitly or as a
pattern-matched name. DATABASE * and DATABASE % are not supported.

So what you were doing (A*, B*, etc) looks to be the only way.

Perhaps create a small REXX Exec to dynamically generate your control
cards. Put the REXX code in the jobstep prior to your DSNUTILB step.

SQL inside the REXX code would be SELECT NAME FROM SYSIBM.SYSDATABASE
