Sendmail problem with db2 UDB v8.1 FP 12 and dasuser userid
I am getting this error from sendmail. It appears that the administrative
user is trying to send an error message, and sendmail is failing to send
it because the user name is not fully qualified.

Dec 28 20:35:01 www sendmail[24715]: kBT1Z1Au024715: ruleset=check_mail,
arg1=<dasusr1>, relay=www.benyshek-hough.com [10.0.2.40], reject=553
5.5.4 <dasusr1>... Domain name required for sender address dasusr1
Dec 28 20:35:01 www sendmail[24715]: kBT1Z1Au024715: from=<dasusr1>, size=0,
class=0, nrcpts=0, proto=SMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=www.benyshek-hough.com [10.0.2.40]

Where do I go to fix this???

Obviously, it's stored in a database somewhere...

Harold

<thoughts type=idle expertise=minimal>
Can you sendmail from any userid on this system? Is it possible that you haven't configured
one of the /etc files to identify the hostname of your system?

eg http://www.google.com.au/search?q=sendmail+553+5.5.4&btnG=Search&hl=en
http://forums.macosxhints.com/archive/index.php/t-3790.html
</thoughts>
