db2 having problems talking to sendmail

db2 having problems talking to sendmail
I have a db2 system which is showing the following problem.

The administrative user (dasusr1) as attempting to send some sort of
an alert message. It is trying this EVERY 30 SECONDS!

sendmail is rejecting these messages with the following error message
(as recorded in /var/log/maillog) Nothing is being recorded in the
db2dump directory (as near as I can tell)

Does anyone have any idea why sendmail is doing this, and how I can
fix it??? Is there any additional information need to trouble-shoot
this???

(in response to Harold Pritchett)

Is dasusr1 in DNS? Is there a default domain defined for the linux box
running Sendmail?
