Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time
Is there any effort required for 2007 DST changes from the DB2(Z/OS)
point of view?
So far I have only found this:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=64&context=SSEPEK&dc=D600&ui
d=swg21248870&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en&rss=ct64db2

The Oracle databases do need patching and we are just getting into this.

Thanks

Re: Daylight Savings Time
(in response to Richard Humphris)
In the IBM DST documentation (http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?
rs=71&uid=swg21248542) it states that APAR IY90463 for DB2 has been opened
to address the DST change for DB2 UDB Version 8.

In reviewing the documentation for that APAR, it states:

"Note: on DB2 V8 Unix and Linux, JDK is not shipped in its
fixpak, hence DB2 FixPak 14 will not patch the JDK that is
already on the system. You should make sure the JDK is DST
compatible or update the Java time zone data using the Java
TimeZone Update Utility."

HOWEVER, further down in the Problem Summary it states:

Problem Summary : To address US and Canadian DST change
commenced in Mar 2007, JDK patch is required. It will be
imbedded in DB2 V8FP14 and V9FP2.

So, my question is ..... FOR UNIX, will FP14 patch the JDK or will I
still need to execute the "Java TimeZone Update Utility" ?
