Hello Philip,

Unfortunately not. As I have written, we have this problem since
an upgrade on our installation. Personally I don't believe that there is a
bug in Compare Tool. The error is too basic. There might be some problem
with upgrade process (a PTF missing ?). But I am not a system programmer.

Mariusz, did you get any reply to this post?

We're considering purchasing DB2 Object Compare. If it's glitching over
something basic, that'd make a difference to us.

Hello list,

We have DB2 v7.

I have been working with DB2 Compare Tools for about two years and had no
problems. But recently I'm getting GOCC024E error. In the simpliest case I
compare two tables which are supposed to have identical structure. Both
structures are in DB2 catalog. The comparison fails on index:
Compare index source(ZUSSOS07.CXS2NOZ) and target
(ZUSSOS0B.CXS2NOZ)
GOCC024E - Unexpected catalog row on source file. Expected:IP
found:TS

Rowtypes from source
file :
IX TS DB KY KY
IP

Rowtypes from target
file :
IX TS DB KY KY
IP

Has anybody encountered such situation ? Should the order of row types be
different ? Does someone know what to do ?

Best regards and a Happy New Year to everybody

(in response to Mariusz Stakowski)
Hi,

have a look at APAR PK22107 (closing date 12 oct 2006). If that was not
part of your upgrade then maybe the fix for that APAR solves your problem.

Regards,

Marcel.
