DSNCLI now a CICS module?

DSNCLI now a CICS module?
All,

Just briefly, can someone confirm/deny the fact that LI module DSNCLI is now
shipped with the CICS libraries and not the DB2 ones?

We've had what I think is a bodge here whereby we bung DSNCLI in a DB2
library that's in our SYSLIB DD concat for CICS-DB2 precompiles. We just
turned on the V8 precompiler by effectively doing a bit of renaming/concat
jigging with DSN.SDSNLOAD - which has meant we no longer had a library with
DSNCLI in it, as it ain't in that library any more. I think it's now a CICS
module and we should change our CICS precompiles to include the CICS library
that has DSNCLI in it, rather than stuff this module in a library that it
doesn't really belong to. Confused? Probably my fault.

Anyway, is DSNCLI now a CICS-delivered module, yes or no?

Cheers,

(in response to Raymond Bell)

From CICS TS 2.2 Migration guide

Change of DSNCLI ownership:

DSNCLI is the CICS-DB2 Language Interface module. With effect from DB2
Version 6, DSNCLI, is no longer shipped by the DB2 product. DSNCLI is
supplied as part of CICS and is installed in the SDFHLOAD library when you
install CICS TS. Note that DSNCLI is an alias of DFHD2LI. DSNCLI is also
installed in the SDFHAUTH APF-authorized library. In this library, DSNCLI
is an alias of DFHD2LIX.

Cheers George, Max,

I found the module/alias reference in SDFHAUTH but not the SDSHLOAD one.
I'm guessing it's SDSHLOAD I should have added to our precompile library
concat. And Max, thanks for the DB2 version this changed under. Man, we've
had our wee bodge for more than 4 years.

Thanks for confirming it guys.
