Copy Production Data to Test using DSN1COPY
Hi,

I need to copy data from production to test database using DSN1COPY. Does
anyone have a utility to generate the DSN1COPY JCL?

Thanks in advance,
Srini

WHy not use the UNLOAD utility, from the actual tablespaces or from image
copies? That way you don't have to mess about with OBID translation,
NUMPARTS etc.

The obvious answer is that this would take about a hundred times as much
CPU (it's the LOAD that is costly).

Yep, but it's all relative - your time against the machine's time!
