DB2v7zOS: Stored Procedure to Report ZPARMs/What is it and how do I call it?

DB2v7zOS: Stored Procedure to Report ZPARMs/What is it and how do I call it?
Help!

I'm at a new company and they're short on automation. I remember that
there's a Stored Procedure, supplied (I think) with SDSNSAMP, which reports
all the ZPARM settings for a subsystem. Can anyone tell me how to compile
and/or call it?

Hi Phil,

The stored procedure you seek is called DSNWZP. You'll find compile JCL in
SDSNSAMP, you'll just need to tailor this to specify your subsystem
datasets. The stored procedure itself will need to be called by an
external program. In our case, it's actually called by BMC Catalog Manager
via the supplied DSNZPARM routine, so I wouldn't know how to code one from
scratch.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Gordon Fishwick.

Stored Procedure DSNWZP is also called by Visual Explain and of course
you can always use Stored Procedure Builder to run it.

Re: DB2v7zOS: Stored Procedure to Report ZPARMs/What is it and how do I call it?
(in response to Frank Crissy)
A gotcha:

DB2 <v8, DSNWZP has to run in the DB2-established SPAS, it can't run in a
WLM-managed stored proc. (I think that changes with V8.)
It needs CEE.SCEERUN in MVS linklist or in //STEPLIB for the SPAS.
You can test it by running SDSNSAMP(DSNTEJ6Z).
If you are on v8 or only have WLM managed SP address space(s), use
external name DSNWZPR and WLM specs for SP create.
