    Hi,

I am getting following message in the DB2 Health Check report.

    Checking DB2 Catalog Authorizations:

Compliant Authid Id Type Table Name Select Insert Update Delete
    --------- -------- ------- ------------------ ------ ------ ------ ------

--> No PUBLIC Special SYSCOLAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special SYSDBAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special SYSPACKAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special SYSPLANAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special SYSRESAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special SYSROUTINEAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special SYSSCHEMAAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special SYSTABAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special SYSUSERAUTH Yes
--> No PUBLIC Special USERNAMES Yes

As per the GSD331 of the account, it is not supposed to be granted to PUBLIC.

Will there be any impact, if i revoke the public access?

Is there any proper procedure to perform this?

    Waiting for your valuable comments.

    Thanks in advance...
    Pravin.

You should Revoke PUBLIC access from those tables.

Those are DB2 Catalog tables which holds authority of DB2 users and nobody should have access to them.

That would be nice to investigate (if possible) why access was Granted before Revoking.
