BMC Software is Seeking a Sr. DB2 Technical Support Analyst
Position Description:

BMC Software's Sr. MSM Technical Support Analyst provides technical support
to customers for Change Manager for DB2, Catalog Manager for DB2 and
Execution for DB2 products, as well as OZI Install. Their primary responsibility
involves interacting with customers over the phone, via email, and Remedy
Customer Service Application tickets. Secondary responsibilities include
testing new release installs during the Installation Verification Process cycle,
testing product fixes prior to delivering them to customers,
processing/packaging new solutions to make them customer ready, setting up
test environments for support QA and Software Consultants, reviewing
technical documentation, and other duties that aid in the quality of and use of
these products.

Position Requirements:

· Candidates must have working experience with DB2 for z/OS and have
an understanding of the Change Manager and Catalog Manager products,
preferably hands on experience

· Good interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communications

· Ability to maintain ones professionalism in stressful situations

· Ability to multitask, balance priorities and a strong desire to help people
solve problems are essential.

· Minimum 5 years Mainframe DB2 experience

· This position also requires participation in an on-call (off-
hours/weekend) rotation.
