DSNT408I SQLCODE = -438
Hi lists,

When I do count on a view using RC Query, I am getting -438 return code for Application Raised Error. We are in DB2 UDB for z/Os v8. It says UNQUALIFIED SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION EXECUTION. I could not find any Raised or Case functions in the view.

I am just wondering if any one have seen this error message before.

Thanks,

the CAUSE=X'000ADDED' looks very unusal to me.

Often unusual results associated with DSN1COPY are a result of DSN1COPY

Is the table space DDL and related table DDL exactly the same for source
and target.
Has the source table space / table been altered with out a reorg?

What version platform of DB2 is this for? Any newer services being used on

Generally speaking the first thing one should try to do in cases like this is rule
out DSN1COPY abuse

(in response to Raey)
Good Evening Avram,

I just tried the COUNT parameter on some of my views here at CA, and
everything works just fine.

I suggest you open an issue with Support and provide the DDL for the
VIEW as well as the base tables. Please feel free to copy me and I'll
have a look too.
