DB2 UDB V9.1 for AIX newbie question

DB2 UDB V9.1 for AIX newbie question
As a DB2 for z/OS DBA, I am expected to know DB2 on any platform. I
spent the last 2 days stumbling my way through the manuals and
successfully installed DB2 V9.1 on AIX! I added the new system to DB2
Control Center on Windows to see the fruits of my labor and thought I
was done. However, the user wants to be able to launch DB2 Control
Center on the AIX box where the instance resides. That's the way
they're used to working. Was Control Center installed as part of the
DB2V9.1 base install? I can't seem to find db2cc. Isn't Control Center
part of DB2 Connect? How do I make the Control Center available locally
on the AIX box?

Thanks in advance,

Carlos Olson

(in response to Carlos Olson)
"What's new for V9.1: Support for DB2 Administration Tools discontinued on some platforms

In previous releases, the DB2(R) Administration Tools, for example the Control Center, were
supported on all platforms. In Version 9, the DB2 Administration Tools are supported only on
Windows(R) x86, Windows x64 (AMD64/EM64T), 32-bit Linux(TM) on x86, and Linux for
AMD64 and Intel(TM) EM64T."

From the Information Center , What's New

Your users will need to install the Administration Client (which is the bit of packaging that
includes Control Center) on their own PCs.
