Cancel Thread TSO
Hi all,

When I tried to display the threads, I am getting the following info.

DSNV401I + DISPLAY THREAD REPORT FOLLOWS -
DSNV402I + ACTIVE THREADS -
NAME ST A REQ ID AUTHID PLAN ASID TOKEN
TSO T * 3 ISDN754 ISDN754 0420 89047
DISPLAY ACTIVE REPORT COMPLETE
DSN9022I + DSNVDT '-DISPLAY THREAD' NORMAL COMPLETION

When I tried to cancel the thread using the TOKEN, I am getting 'COMMAND REJECTED, UNAUTHORISED REQUEST'.

If I try to display the thread again, I am getting the following.

NAME ST A REQ ID AUTHID PLAN ASID TOKEN
TSO T * 3 ISDN754 ISDN754 0420 89093

Token number is changing. Please let me know how will I cancel this thread.

Thanks
Vanitha

Re: Cancel Thread TSO
(in response to Vanitha Subramaniam)
If the token number is changing the thread is being terminated and re-
started. Hence there is a continually changing thread.

You need at least SYSCTRL privilege to cancel a thread. It appears you
don't have it.

You may need to get your system operators to cancel the TSO user
