Access AS400 Db2 from ZOS DB2

Access AS400 Db2 from ZOS DB2

We have a need to access data from an outside client which resides on a
AS400/DB2 platform from our ZOS/DB2 (v7.1) platform. I found some
information on setting up the SYSIBM tables but has anyone setup SPUFI
or QMF? Looks like SPUFI might be straight forward via re-binding to a
collection on the AS400 but QMF appears to be more work. We also had the
need to access information from both machines via one program if
possible.

Finally my question is can anyone share any knowledge on how to perform
these tasks.

Thanks in Advance

Mike Kaminski
