Point in time recovery in a datasharing

Point in time recovery in a datasharing
We are doing hands on testing of our recovery procedures and have a little problem.
We are have a DB2 data sharing environment V9 with 2 members. For some reason we are in a situation where member 2 is quiesced.

We have an required to have recover procedure where we can set up a DB2 system even if both sites is gone and all the disk with them. Only what we have on tape is OK. It's not often we test this.

We have set up and test DB2 just to se if everyting else is OK are we able to start DB2.

We have tried with just starting the main member but we then get trouble with recovery.

When we start both members in maint we have no trouble.

Since we in one of our real life system has a quiesced member we are a bit worried.

We see that IBM has a trick for readonly members, but can not find in the documentation what happens if the member I down.

Is it possible to set up DB2 to a prior point in time that is after one member is quiesced and before current? And what is the trick?
Anyone who has done a test and can help us out?

Best regards
