they have selected Digest of course...

Re: DB2 Listserv
(in response to Roy Boxwell)
Every month or 2 the LISTADMINS post a FAQ asked question to the list.
By DB2-L convention the subject line begins with [ADMIN]

I did a search in the web interface (the only interface I use) for LISTADMIN and got many hits including the one below from 30 Jan 2010

................................................................................................................................................

I have been receiving reports that some people have not been receiving posts from the listserv for a couple of weeks

1) If you or someone you know are having issues like this, please report it to the following address [login to unmask email] This email is to be used ONLY for reporting issues of non accessibility of the listserv (when you think it is down). All other requests to this email will be ignored.

2) As a reminder all general requests should be forwards to the standard address to contact the administrators at [login to unmask email]

3) All list commands s should be sent to [login to unmask email] these include actions like stopping the posts temporary, getting the digest version etc. for a list of the various command using this method, send the keyword help in a body of the email to the above address.

4) Send notes to personnel email address will only delay response as I ‘work’ for a living (this is volunteer position) and may not have access to the system for a period of time. Send to the above address will allow the administration team to respond to your issue more quickly (who ever gets online ‘first’).

5) We are looking for additional volunteers to help with the administration of the listserv. If you are comfortable with the software. Or willing to learn, and can give some of your time to the community, please forward a note of interest to [login to unmask email] we are especially looking people who have some admin experience with UINIX/LYNIX etc

Thank you for your co-operation
