BOD Voting NOW on-line

BOD Voting NOW on-line
Since you are going to the conference, most if not all of you should have IDUG
Premier membership that goes with it. I wanted to point out that this year,
for the first time, all premier members (not just those who crawl out of bed for
the Tuesday morning business meeting) can vote on the IDUG Board of
Directors. Voting opened this morning and will remain open until 23:59 May
18th Dallas time.

How does this work? Simple - you go to IDUG.ORG and sign in, you are taken
to the Members Area and you will see the voting information and links right at
the top of the page.

If you are signed up for the conference and NOT showing as a premier member
when you have signed in, please contact [login to unmask email] to get that
straightened out.

Did it! Quick and easy - and it's great to see the "as-it's-happening"
results.

Of all the things that the IDUG Board has done during my seven years on that
team (and it's done a LOT), enabling electronic voting for the slate of
Board nominees is way up there on my list of favorites.

Hooray for the Tuesday morning breakfast during IDUG North America week
becoming just a breakfast!

And kudos to IDUG's Web committee for making the idea a reality! Mr. Labby,
you should have fun chairing that committee during the 2008-2009 IDUG year.
