Please consider moderating a session

Paul Turpin

Please consider moderating a session
If you are looking for a way to help out at the IDUG 2008 North America
Conference in a few short weeks then I would encourage you to consider
moderating one or more session. If you are interested in this
opportunity, please use the Personal Itinerary Tool in the Conference
Schedule of Events to choose an available session. Directions for
volunteering to moderate, as well as the moderator guidelines, can be
found on this page. Among the guidelines, session moderators are
responsible for introducing the speaker as well as general housekeeping
tasks such as directing attendees to available seats, keeping the
session on time, and collecting evaluation cards. This is an easy way
to start as an IDUG volunteer!

If you have any questions about moderating please contact me and I will
be happy to answer your questions.

(in response to Paul Turpin)
Paul,

The last few years I've offered my services as a moderator as we get close to the conference. I am glad to do that again this year. Please let me know what I can do.

Thanks,

Bill Arledge

I'm already signed up to moderate a session. If you have a list of
sessions that still need moderators please send it to me. If they are on
my list of sessions to attend, I could certainly moderate another
session, providing its one I've targeted to attend.

Regards, Shery
